- Super Bulky/#6 chenille/velvet yarn (Loops & Threads Sweet Snugglies lite, Premier Yarns Parfait Chunky, or similar): Purple (~450 yds) and light pink (~450 yds) or preferred colours. I used 2 each of the L&T Sweet Snugglies Lite and just barely had enough, and those come with 218 yds each.
- Worsted weight/#4 yarn (Red Heart Super Saver or similar): White (~55 yds), Black (~7 yds)
- Size J / 6.00mm crochet hook
- Size F / 3.75mm crochet hook
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Yarn needle with wide eye
