Halloween is over, which means Christmas is officially on the way! Fellow crocheters, are you ready to start your Christmas gift prep? How about some fun homemade decor ideas? This cute little polar bear is perfect for both! You can hang him from your own tree, and he also makes a great stocking stuffed for a loved one.
I designed this polar bear a few years ago as a Secret Santa gift for a colleague, and I just think he’s the cutest thing. This pattern has been around for awhile in my shop, but I decided to pull him out, brush him off, and give him a stylish Santa hat. I definitely think it completes the look!

Supplies Needed
- Worsted weight yarn (Red Heart Super Saver or similar): White, Cherry Red, small amount of black yarn or embroidery thread
- Size G / 4.00mm crochet hook – I recommend the ergonomic Clover Amour hooks
- Fiberfill stuffing
- Yarn needle
- Scissors & pins
- Stitch marker – I recommend locking stitch markers

- Ch: Chain
- Sl: Slip Stitch
- Sc: Single Crochet
- Inc: Increase
- Dec: Decrease – I recommend using the Invisible Decrease
